CARPENTERS

We are seeking experienced Carpenters with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the carpentry field.

Responsibilities:

- Designing, building, installing, maintaining and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items.
- Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
- Monitor work done by outside contractors for adherence to state and federal Code Requirements and reports back to supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Five (5) years experience required.
- Waste or wastewater treatment experience helpful, but not required.
- Experience in gang forming and forming with EFCO and Symon Form Systems.
- Considerable knowledge of safety procedures and hazards related to construction is a plus.

LABORERS

We are seeking experienced Laborers with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the construction labor field.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and prepare job sites.
- Load and deliver materials.
- Use a variety of tools and machines, such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers and etc.
- Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures.
- Assist carpenters, masons and other specialized contractors.

Qualifications:

- Five (5) years experience required.
- Waste or wastewater treatment experience helpful, but not required.
- Solid knowledge of concrete and site work.
- Considerable knowledge of safety procedures and hazards related to construction is a plus.

OPERATORS

We are seeking experienced Operators with a minimum of five (5) years experience.

Responsibilities:

- Operation of heavy equipment including:

Single axle dump trucks, dual axle dump trucks with automatic and manual transmissions, loaders, roller and compactors, tractors, sprayers, sweepers, snowplows and salters, forklifts, road profilers, asphalt laydown machines, backhoes and more.

- Build, level and excavate land surfaces using graders and other construction equipment.
- Gather and load dirt and waste products from job sites onto trucks and transport to appropriate locations.
- Perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties related to construction and maintenance.
- Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Five (5) years experience required.
- Waste or wastewater treatment experience helpful, but not required.
- Operation of heavy construction equipment.
- Experience in the operation of excavator, backhoe, and dozer.
- Must be familiar with pipeline and yard pipe work.
- Considerable knowledge of safety procedures and hazards related to construction is a plus.

PIPE FITTERS

We are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters with a minimum of five (5) years experience with steel pipe and stainless steel pipe.

Responsibilities:

- Perform material takeoffs.
- Coordinate with job site manager to configure pipe system layout.
- Order proper pipes and other materials.
- Secure pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
- Repair and maintain pipe systems and components.
- Resolve problems such as obstructions or holes.

Qualifications:

- Five (5) years experience required.
- Waste or wastewater treatment experience helpful, but not required.
- Ability to read blue prints
- Considerable knowledge of safety procedures and hazards related to construction is a plus.

PIPE FOREMEN

We are seeking experienced Pipe Foremen with a minimum of five (5) years experience in WWTP work.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise the installation, maintenance and repair of heating, cooling, gas and process piping and equipment
- Coordinate the activities of the Pipefitters with those of the other crafts involved in multiple craft projects.
- Select material and techniques for fabrication based on job conditions and type of service being provided.
- Supervise Pipe Fitting team to ensure appropriate procedures are followed at all times during the course of the work.

Qualifications:

- Five (5) years experience required.
- Knowledge of piping systems materials and their properties including but not limited to plastics, iron, malleable steel, copper, brass, chromium, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Waste or wastewater treatment experience helpful, but not required.
- Must be able to read drawings and specifications.
- Must have experience in underground piping, interior process piping layout, and fit up.
- Trade references are a plus.
- Considerable knowledge of safety procedures and hazards related to construction is a plus.

PROJECT MANAGER, HEAVY CONSTRUCTION

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a minimum of five (5) years experience.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize and staff key field positions.
- Supervision of project superintendents and foreman.
- Plan, organize and manage materials, equipment and subcontractors.
- Supervision and inspection of subcontractors work and quality performance.
- Develop and manage construction schedules as required.
- Establish project objectives, schedules, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
- Proactively recognize and manage potential claim/change orders/value engineering issues on projects
- Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
- Uphold & maintain all Safety policies and standards on all Projects.
- Review & finalize project costs & adjustments upon project completion.

SITE SUPERVISOR, HEAVY CONSTRUCTION

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor with a minimum of five (5) years experience.

Responsibilities:

- Direct activities of workers concerned with site preparation, land clearing and filling, demolition and other construction projects.
- Plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times, staffing requirements and tools and equipment available for project.
- Insure that tools, materials, and equipment are delivered at specific times to meet work schedules.
- Confer with subcontractors and other supervisory personnel in planning and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
- Inspect work in progress to insure that workmanship conforms to specification and construction schedules are met.
- Prepare daily reports which reflect daily production of job, material, equipment in use, labor and site conditions.
- Monitor general safety program on job to include daily inspections, use of proper personal protection equipment, weekly safety meeting, and jobsite safety analysis.Ability to manage large projects.

SITE SURVEYOR

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Surveyor with a minimum of five (5) years experience.

Responsibilities:

Survey work on construction layouts, sanitary mapping and layout; topographic, bountary wetland, roadway and aerial control surveys as well as ALTA surveys.
- Maintaining survey equipment and inventory.
- Calculating coordinates, elevations and cut sheets
- Writing cost estimates and proposals for a variety of job specifications.
- Actively pursue and generate business opportunities and cultivate relationships with both existing and potential customers while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical oversight and leadership to field and office staff.
- Take a proactive approach to project planning, scheduling and project timelines.
- Supervision and mentoring of staff in the survey practice.
- Oversee the proposal process.
- Maintain effective communications with appropriate personnel, keeping them informed of all aspects relevant to the duties to which they have been assigned.
- Consistent customer contact and communication ensuring long-term customer/account satisfaction.
